Tom Condon , Board ChairTom and his wife Christy have raised their three children in Santa Barbara since 2003, one of whom is currently a Royal. Tom works in the finance industry and also serves on the national board of the Lymphoma Research Foundation. Tom received his BA from Brown University, and his MBA from Vanderbilt University.

Barbara McWhirter, Secretary Barbara, a native of Northern California, graduated from University of Arizona in 1986.  After graduation she moved to San Diego where she started her career in the non-profit world. Working in development/planned giving and project management for PBS/NPR, and the Natural History Museum. She then translated her marathon and triathlon experiences into a successful career in endurance sports marketing with the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society where she was the National VP of their endurance sports fundraising group, Team In Training.  Recently, she was President of the Hope School District Education Foundation and chaired a number of their successful fund raising events and initiatives.  Barbara has served on several local non-profit boards and is an active member in NCL (National Charity League). Barbara has two daughters, Lily, recently graduated from SMHS and Emma, is an incoming freshmen. 

Don Oas, Treasurer, As a technology executive, entrepreneur and marketing expert, Don has lead strategic, marketing and senior teams in Fortune 50 multinationals, global software companies and several VC backed, marketing and technology start-ups. (Verizon,, Openwave, Blue Casa, Aviesta). Don holds an MBA from University of Colorado, and degree in Economics from Gustavus Adolphus College. Don is also actively involved with non-profit and youth sports and served as Treasurer of Marymount Board of Trustees. 


Krista Benz Krista Benz graduated from University of Florida with a bachelor of arts in English and worked in marketing and sales following school. She moved with her husband Pat to SB from Sarasota, Fl 6 years ago. They have four kids, two grown young women working in advertising in LA, their younger daughter Savannah is an AAPLE graduate & a sophomore at USC, and their son Patrick is a sophomore in AAPLE. Krista has been involved in various ways at SMHS, especially with the AAPLE academy. Krista's always been an active force in her kids schools, through pta boards, committees and functions, as well as participating in numerous non-profit organizations.

Rebecca IngramRebecca and her husband John moved to Santa Barbara from Boston in 2011.  They have 4 children Grace (SMHS 17), Paul (SMHS 2018), Paige (SMHS 2021) and Brooke (SMHS 2022).  Rebecca works in real estate development and also serves on the board of the Santa Barbara Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. and the board of the Santa Barbara Soccer Club. 

Lisa LeeLisa graduated from UCSB with a BA in Business Economic Emphasis in Accounting. Born in Taipei Taiwan, Lisa moved to Santa Barbara at the age of 13, currently serve as the Board Member of Taiwanese American Association. She and her husband Peter has/had owned and operate several restaurants in Santa Barbara, Montecito and Carpenteria. Lisa has a senior at San Marcos High School, she has been very active in school and charity fundraising.

Marie O'Regan - Marie has lived in Santa Barbara since 1998. She has 2 sons and 2 stepdaughters,  one of whom is currently a Royal, and two others are proud SMHS graduates. Marie works in Research and Development for Corning Inc. Marie received her B.Sc. from University College, Dublin (Ireland) and her PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Anna RiceAnna S. Rice is the Creative Director and Co-Owner at both Sunstone Winery and Artiste Winery, both located in the Santa Ynez Valley. She directs the creative decision-making at both companies. Anna graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics. After graduation she moved back to her home in the Bay area for a year before embarking on her fashion career in Los Angeles and New York for the next 3 years. In addition to her current roles as Creative Director, she consults both Sunstone and Artiste on high-level business strategy via her independent company, Atelier Creative Consulting.

Eric Voulgaris - Eric graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1986 with a BA in political science. He and his wife, Jami have owned and operated Rooms & Gardens, a custom furniture and interior design company, for over 25 years. Eric has served as a board member for the Santa Barbara Downtown Organization and the Page Youth Center.  Eric and Jami have a senior Kyle Voulgaris at San Marcos. 

Tony Winterbauer - Tony and his wife Tricia have three children who they raised in Santa Barbara since 1999. Tricia is a San Marcos alumni, their oldest graduated from SMHS and is now at Cal, their second child is a senior at SMHS and their youngest is at La Colina Jr. High. Tony has served the Santa Barbara community for 11 years as a Trustee for the Hope Elementary School District, served on the SMHS AAPLE Board for 4 years, served on the GVS Little League Board for 2 years and is in his second year on the Royal Pride Foundation board. Tony graduated from UCSB and has worked as a sales executive in the Telecommunications industry for the last 26 years.

Dana Tunstall-Huffman, PTSA Liaison - Dana and her husband John have two children, Nina (SMHS 2019)  and Jack (SMHS2020).  Dana, originally form New Orleans, La, moved to Santa Barbara in 1991, while John is a native Santa Barbarian, and a San Marcos alumni.  Dana works at UCSB as a Business Systems Analyst and John is a freelance automobile journalist.

 Dane Sterndahl, Student Liaison - Dane is currently a senior attending SMHS. He is an academic athlete excelling in AP and dual enrollment courses while participating in various sports; football, rugby, wrestling and baseball.  Dane plans to attend undergraduate and graduate school to fulfill his pathway to becoming an orthodontist.
